Abstract

The mechanical strength under compression, the structure and the phase composition of potassium-magnesium-phosphate cement with different amounts of additives (10, 15, 20 wt. %) of wollastonite and slag of the Mariupol metallurgical combine, “Zaporozhstal” plant and the Dnepropetrovsk metallurgical combine were studied. The resulting material has a homogeneous structure, which is represented by a potassium-magnesium-phosphate matrix with uniformly distributed inclusions of other phases. It is established that the compressive strength σc reaches a maximum with the addition of 20 wt. % wollastonite (23.2 N/mm2) and 20 wt. % of the slag Mariupol metallurgical combine (31.6 N/mm2).
